Poor Bert, he can never catch a break! I'd be just as cranky with Ernie as a roomate.
I agree as to how Ernie's imagination could wake Bert up? That's going a little too far into fantasy with this sketch. Nevertheless I love the part where the balloon popping literally scares Bert out of his sleep. That cracks me up!!

OMG, I first saw this when I was about 4 and I then used to count sheep to fall asleep after seeing this, picturing them like they are in this... I no longer need to count sheep to fall asleep though! I know, I'm 'special'...
